Vegan Smoky Prawn Pies
A vegan twist on traditional prawn pies, using smoky flavors and a crumbly crust.
Ingredients
- β250g ukrainian flour
- β200g smoky tofucrumbled
- β100g prawnimitation, vegan
- β100ml water
- β50g vegan butter
- β10g nutritional yeast
- βas needed salt
- βas needed black pepper
Instructions

Preheat oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).

Combine ukrainian flour, smoky tofu, prawn, water, vegan butter, nutritional yeast, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.

Mix until a dough forms.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5mm (1/4 inch).

Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

Place a tablespoon of the filling in the center of each dough circle.

Fold the dough over the filling to form a pie shape, and press the edges together to seal.

Brush the tops of the pies with a little water and sprinkle with some additional nutritional yeast.

Bake the pies in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
