Argentinian Beef Empanadas
A classic Argentinian dish featuring crispy empanadas filled with seasoned beef. Perfect for a snack or light meal.
Ingredients

- β1 package Crunchy Empanada DoughHomemade or store-bought
- β1 medium OnionChopped
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β2 tablespoons Worcestershire SauceOptional
- β1 large EggBeaten
- β1/2 teaspoon Salt
- β1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
- β2 tablespoons Olive Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, if using.

Season the beef mixture with salt and black pepper to taste.

Let the beef mixture cool to room temperature.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the empanada dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

Place a tablespoon or two of the beef mixture in the center of each dough circle.

Brush the edges of the dough with the beaten egg.

Fold the dough in half to form a half-circle and press the edges together to seal the empanada.
