Cured Pork and Pakora Puff Pastry Pinwheels
A German-inspired pastry filled with cured pork and crispy pakora.
Ingredients
- β1 sheet puff pastry
- β1/2 cup, diced cured pork
- β1/4 cup pakora mix
- β1/2 cup, finely chopped onion
- β1 tsp caraway seeds
- β1/4 tsp salt
- β1 egg
- β1/4 cup sour cream
- β1/4 cup, chopped fresh parsley

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out puff pastry to a thickness of 1/8 inch.

In a bowl, mix together cured pork, pakora mix, onion, caraway seeds, and salt.

Spread the mixture evenly over the center of the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border on either side.

Brush the edges of the pastry with egg for glazing.

Fold the left and right sides of the pastry over the filling, pressing gently to seal.

Cut into pinwheels and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the tops with sour cream and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
