Crispy Lamb Kebabs with Indian Spices
A flavorful and spicy lamb kebab recipe with a crispy exterior and a juicy interior, inspired by Indian cuisine.
Ingredients
- β500g Lamb Shoulder, boneless and cut into 1-inch cubes
- β100g Greek Yogurt
- β2tbsp Deliciously Spicy Indian Spice Blend (garam masala, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, cardamom)
- β20g Crispy Fried Onions (for garnish)
- β2tbsp Lemon Juice
- β2tbsp Ghee or Vegetable Oil
- βto taste Salt

1. In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, spice blend, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Add the lamb cubes and mix until they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

2. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

3. Brush the grill or grill pan with a little ghee or oil to prevent sticking.

4. Grill the lamb kebabs for 8-10 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and slightly charred.

5. Garnish with crispy fried onions and serve immediately.

6. To make crispy fried onions, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee or oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add 1/4 cup of thinly sliced onions and cook, stirring frequently, until they are golden brown and crispy.
