Lamb Curry with Fermented Flavors
A rich and aromatic lamb curry infused with the depth of fermented spices. Serve with basmati rice or naan bread for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds Lamb shoulder
- β1 medium Onion
- β2 inches Ginger
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β2 tablespoons Fermented curry paste
- β1 teaspoon Curry powder
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- β1 cup Lamb broth
- β1/4 cup Yogurt

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add ginger and garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add lamb and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Add curry paste, curry powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir to coat the lamb.

Add lamb broth and bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat to low and cook, covered, until the lamb is tender, about 1 1/2 hours.
