Slovakian-Style Stir Fry with Fermented Bread
A fusion of Indian and Slovakian flavors, this stir fry features tender meat and fermented bread. A unique and delicious twist on a classic dish.
Ingredients
- β1 loaf Slovakian Breadpreferably day-old
- β1 pound Tender Beefsirloin or ribeye
- β1 cup Fermented Vegetablesuch as kimchi or sauerkraut
- β2 tablespoons Coconut Oilfor frying
- β1 teaspoon Indian Spicesgaram masala, cumin, coriander
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper

Cut the Slovakian bread into small cubes and set aside.

Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the tender beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Add the fermented vegetable to the skillet and cook until slightly caramelized, about 4-5 minutes.

Add the Indian spices to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the cooked beef back to the skillet and stir to combine with the fermented vegetable and spices.
