Slow Cooker Syrian Pork Shoulder Stew
A hearty and flavorful slow-cooked stew made with tender pork shoulder, aromatic spices, and a rich velvety sauce.
Ingredients

- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β1 medium Onion
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1 cup Flavorful beef broth
- β2 teaspoons Syrian spices
- β2 tablespoons Tomato paste
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepper

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Brown the pork shoulder on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Add the onion and garlic to the Dutch oven and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add the beef broth, Syrian spices, tomato paste, salt, and black pepper to the Dutch oven. Stir to combine.

Return the pork shoulder to the Dutch oven and bring the stew to a boil.

Transfer the Dutch oven to the slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the pork is tender.
