Spiced Potato Gratin
A flavorful twist on the classic gratin, infused with Indian spices and perfectly cooked potatoes.
Ingredients
- β2 pounds, peeled and thinly sliced New potatoes
- β1 cup, grated Fluffy potatoes
- β1/2 cup, diced Argentinian potatoes
- β2 tablespoons Ghee
- β1 medium, thinly sliced Onion
- β3 cloves, minced Garlic
- β1 teaspoon Garam masala
- β1/2 teaspoon Cumin
- β1/2 teaspoon Salt
- β1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large pan, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic, garam masala, cumin, salt, and black pepper to the pan and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

In a large bowl, combine the sliced new potatoes, grated fluffy potatoes, and diced Argentinian potatoes.

Pour the onion-spice mixture over the potatoes and mix until they are evenly coated.

Transfer the potato mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish and dot the top with the remaining 1 tablespoon of ghee.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the potatoes are tender.
