Panforte with Charred Leek and Italian Herbs
A classic Italian dessert reimagined with charred leek and a hint of Italian herbs.

- ●2 medium LeeksCharred
- ●2 tablespoons fresh Italian herbsChopped

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

Char the leeks by grilling them over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side, or until slightly blackened.

Slice the charred leeks into thin rings.

Cut the panforte into 1-inch cubes.

In a small bowl, mix together the Italian herbs, honey, and lemon zest.

Add the herb mixture to the panforte cubes and toss to coat.

Place the panforte cubes on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly toasted.

To assemble, place a few slices of charred leek on a serving plate, top with a few cubes of panforte, and drizzle with the herb mixture.
