Grilled Beef Satay
Satay is a popular Malaysian dish of marinated meat grilled on skewers. This recipe features tender beef and a blend of spices.
Ingredients
- β0.5 pounds Beef strips
- β1/4 cup Coconut milk
- β2 stalks Fresh lemongrass
- β2 inches Fresh galangal
- β2 teaspoons Coriander powder
- β1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- β1/2 teaspoon Salt
- β1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
- β1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- β10-12 Wooden skewers

In a blender or food processor, combine coconut milk, lemongrass, galangal, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.

Add the beef strips to the blender and blend until the meat is well coated with the marinade.

Thread the beef strips onto the wooden skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Brush the grill with oil to prevent sticking.
