Spicy Korean-Indian Stir Fry
A fusion dish that combines the bold flavors of Korea with the warmth of Indian spices.
Ingredients
- β2 teaspoons Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)adjust to taste
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- β1 medium Onionthinly sliced
- β1 medium Bell pepperthinly sliced
- β2 medium Carrotspeeled and thinly sliced
- β1 medium Tomatodiced
- β1 teaspoon Garam masala
- β1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
- βto taste Salt
- βchopped (for garnish) Fresh cilantro

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced onion and cook until lightly browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the sliced bell pepper and carrots, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Add the diced tomato, garam masala, cumin powder, and salt. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add the Korean chili flakes and stir to combine.

Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
