Grilled Pork Thit Nuong
A popular Vietnamese-style grilled pork dish, marinated in a sweet and savory mixture. Serve with fresh herbs and steamed rice.
Ingredients
- β500g pork thitthinly sliced
- β4 garlicky bunchopped, for serving
- β2 tablespoons vietnamese nuonggrilled until caramelized
- β1/2 cup soy saucemarinade
- β2 tablespoons sugarmarinade
- β2 tablespoons fish saucemarinade
- β2 tablespoons lime juicemarinade
- β1/4 cup cilantrochopped, for garnish

In a blender or food processor, combine soy sauce, sugar, fish sauce, lime juice, and nuong. Blend until smooth.

In a large bowl, whisk together marinade and sliced pork thit. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove pork from marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off.

Grill pork for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Transfer pork to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes. Slice into thin strips.
