Grilled Pork Bun
A popular Vietnamese street food recipe featuring tender grilled pork and crispy fresh buns. Serve with pickled carrots and daikon for a delicious snack or light meal.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Pork shoulderSlice into thin strips
- β4-6 Gentle bunPreferably fresh
- β2 tablespoons Smoked fish sauceFor added depth of flavor
- β2 tablespoons Nuoc ChamVietnamese dipping sauce
- βChopped Fresh cilantroGarnish
- βSliced Pickled carrots and daikonOptional
- βSliced Sliced cucumberOptional
- βSliced Sliced mint leavesOptional
- βSliced Sliced chili peppersOptional
- βTo taste Salt and black pepperFor seasoning

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

In a large bowl, whisk together smoked fish sauce, Nuoc Cham, salt, and black pepper.

Add sliced pork to the marinade and mix well to coat.

Let the pork marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Grill the pork for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Meanwhile, toast the buns on the grill or in a toaster.
