Frankfurter Dumpling Soup
A hearty and comforting soup made with Malaysian-inspired dumplings and served with a side of sausages. Perfect for a chilly evening.
Ingredients
- β200g Dumpling dough
- β1L Vegetable broth
- β100g Chopped cabbage
- β50g Sliced carrots
- β4 Frankfurter sausages
- β2 tbsp Soy sauce
- β20g Chopped scallions
- β10g Grated ginger
Instructions

Bring the vegetable broth to a boil in a large pot.

Add the chopped cabbage and sliced carrots and cook until tender.

In a separate pan, cook the frankfurter sausages until browned.

Add the cooked sausages to the pot with the cabbage and carrots.

Mix in the soy sauce and stir to combine.

Wrap the dumpling dough around small balls of filling (about 20g each) to form dumplings.

Add the dumplings to the pot and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.

Stir in the chopped scallions and grated ginger.

Serve the soup hot, garnished with additional scallions if desired.
