Lamb Kachori
A delicious Indian-inspired dish featuring spiced lamb and crispy kachori bread.
Ingredients
- β2 cups all-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup ghee or oil
- β1 pound lamb mince80% lean
- β1 medium onion
- β2 inches ginger
- β3 cloves garlic
- β2 teaspoons cumin
- β1 teaspoon coriander
- β1 teaspoon garam masala
- β1/2 teaspoon salt
- β4-6 pieces kachori doughstore-bought or homemade
Instructions

Preheat oil in a deep frying pan to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Knead kachori dough and divide into 4-6 pieces.

Roll out each piece into a thin circle.

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Add ghee or oil and cook lamb mince until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.

Add onion, ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, garam masala, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.

Brush kachori dough with water and place in the pan.

Cook for 2-3 minutes or until kachori is golden brown.

Flip kachori and cook for another 2 minutes.

Drain on paper towels and serve hot with lamb filling.
