Russian-Style Pasta Baked with Intense Resinous Flavor

Ingredients
- β1/4 cup Pine ResinFinely ground
- β1 cup, cubed Russian Black Breadday-old
- β8 oz. Pastapenne or fusilli
- β1 cup, sliced Mushroomsbutton or cremini
- β2 tbsp Butter
- β1 tsp, dried Dill
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Pepper
- β1/2 cup, grated CheeseRussian cheese or cheddar

1. Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C).

2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown.

4. Add the ground pine resin to the skillet and stir to combine with the mushrooms. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

5. Add the cubed Russian black bread to the skillet and toss to combine with the mushroom-pine resin mixture.

6. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, mushroom-bread mixture, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
