Flaky Macaron French Kiss
A delicate French-inspired macaron recipe with a flaky twist and a hint of kissed flavor.
Ingredients
- β1 cup French kissed almondsGround to a fine powder
- β24 Macaron shellsPre-made or homemade
- β1/4 cup Olive oilFor brushing
- β1/2 cup Flaky sea saltFor dusting
- β1 cup Powdered sugarFor dusting
- β1/2 cup Unsalted butterMelted
- β1 tsp Vanilla extractOptional

Preheat the oven to 300Β°F (150Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, sift together the powdered sugar and almond powder.

In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form.

Fold the sifted almond mixture into the egg whites until well combined.

Transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a round tip.

Pipe small circles onto the prepared baking sheet.

Tap the baking sheet gently to remove any air bubbles.

Allow the macarons to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to an hour.
