Saudia Mushroom Stir Fry
A simple and flavorful stir fry dish from Saudia Arabia, made with wild mushrooms and a blend of spices.
Ingredients
- β250g wild mushroomsany variety
- β2 tbsp vegetable oilfor stir frying
- β1 medium onionthinly sliced
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 tbsp soy sauceor to taste
- β1 tsp paprikaoptional
- βto taste saltoptional
- βto taste black pepperoptional
Instructions

Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the onion and garlic and stir fry until the onion is translucent.

Add the mushrooms and stir fry until they are tender and lightly browned.

Add the soy sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper, and stir to combine.

Stir fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the flavors have melded together.

Serve the stir fry hot, garnished with chopped fresh herbs if desired.

Note: Traditionally, this dish would be cooked over an open flame, but a conventional stovetop or wok will work just as well.
