Dutch Mousse Parfait
A light and airy dessert made with Dutch meringue, gelatin, and topped with a fluffy mousse. Perfect for warm weather.
Ingredients
- β2 cups GelatinUnflavored, unsweetened
- β1 cup Dutch MeringueStore-bought or homemade
- β1 cup Kooky CreamHeavy cream or a similar substitute
- β1/4 cup Aerated SugarGranulated sugar or to taste
- β1 cup MousseStore-bought or homemade

1. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over 1/4 cup of cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to soften.

2. In a large bowl, whip the kooky cream until it forms stiff peaks.

3. In a separate bowl, whip the mousse until it's light and airy.

4. Add the sugar to the mousse and whip until combined.

5. In a separate saucepan, combine the gelatin, 1 cup of water, and 1/4 cup of sugar.

6. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the gelatin dissolves.

7. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool slightly.

8. Fold the whipped cream into the gelatin mixture until well combined.

9. Fold the mousse mixture into the gelatin mixture until well combined.

10. Spoon the mixture into individual serving cups and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

11. Top with additional whipped cream and mousse, if desired.
