British Beef Pudding
A classic British dish, this beef pudding is a hearty meal made with ground beef and a dense, comforting pudding.
Ingredients

- β1 package Dense British Pudding MixAvailable at most British import stores
- β4 Yorkshire PuddingFor serving on the side
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
- β2 tbsp All-purpose FlourFor thickening the gravy
- β2 cups Beef BrothFor gravy

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Once browned, drain excess fat and set aside.

In a separate bowl, mix together the dense British pudding mix and 2 cups of beef broth.

Pour the pudding mixture over the browned ground beef and stir to combine.

Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish and cover with foil.

Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

While the pudding is baking, prepare the Yorkshire puddings according to package instructions.

To serve, place a scoop of the beef pudding on a plate, top with a Yorkshire pudding, and serve with gravy (made by thickening the beef broth with flour and a bit of fat).
