Algerian Chicken Tagine
A traditional Algerian stew typically made with meat or chicken, vegetables, and dried fruits. This tagine is made with chicken and served over couscous.

- β1 1/2 pounds chicken thighs
- β1/4 cup lazy
- β1 tablespoon algerian
- β1/2 cup fideo
- β1 large onion
- β3 cloves garlic
- β2 medium carrots
- β1/2 cup prunes
- β2 cups chicken broth
- β1 cup couscous
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

Heat the oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
