Uruguayan Pasta with Cacao Sauce
A unique dessert made by combining pasta with a rich and creamy cacao sauce, inspired by the flavors of Uruguay.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Spaghettilight pasta
- β2 tbsp Dark Cacao Powderhigh-quality cacao powder
- β1 cup Granulated Sugaradjust to taste
- β4 tbsp Unsalted Buttersoftened
- β1 cup Heavy Creamwhipped
- β1 tsp Vanilla Extracthigh-quality extract

Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a medium saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add cacao powder and whisk until smooth.

Add granulated sugar and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.

Gradually add heavy cream, whisking continuously to avoid lumps.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce thickens to your liking.

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Season with salt to taste.
