Smoked Salmon Sushi Rice Bowl
A twist on traditional sushi, featuring smoked salmon and a flavorful Japanese-inspired pilaf. Enjoy as a main dish or as a side.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Jamaican rice pilaf
- β6 oz Smoked salmonsliced into thin pieces
- β4 oz Lightly smoked salmon filletfor garnish
- β1 medium Potatoesdiced
- β2 tbsp Sesame oil
- β1 tbsp Soy sauce
- β1 tbsp Rice vinegar
- β1 tsp Sugar
- βto taste Salt

Cook the rice pilaf according to package instructions.

In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium heat.

Add diced potatoes and cook until they are tender and lightly browned.

Add sliced smoked salmon and cook for 2-3 minutes, until it starts to flake.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sugar.

Pour the sauce over the salmon and potatoes, and toss to coat.

Season with salt to taste.

To assemble the dish, place a scoop of cooked rice pilaf in a bowl, followed by a spoonful of the salmon and potato mixture.
