Smoked Beef Pirozhki
A unique twist on traditional Russian pirozhki, filled with smoked beef and Thai flavors.
Ingredients
- β250g Beef (smoked)
- β1 pack Pirozhki dough (homemade or store-bought)
- β2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- β2 tsp Thai red curry paste
- β1 tsp Fish sauce
- β2 tbsp Lime juice
- β1/4 cup Chopped fresh cilantro
- βto taste Salt
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Thaw pirozhki dough according to package instructions.

Cut smoked beef into small pieces and set aside.

In a pan, heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil over medium heat.

Add Thai red curry paste and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add beef to the pan and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Add fish sauce, lime juice, and salt to the pan, and stir to combine.

Roll out pirozhki dough to desired thickness.

Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

Place a tablespoon of the beef mixture onto the center of each dough circle.

Fold the dough in half to form a half-moon shape, and press edges together to seal.

Brush tops of pirozhki with remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil.

Place pirozhki on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve warm, garnished with chopped cilantro.
