Charred Lamb Tagine
A hearty North African-inspired dish featuring charred lamb and a blend of aromatic spices.

Ingredients
- β1.5 kg Lamb shoulderpreferably bone-in
- β2 tbsp Olive oilfor char-grilling
- β2 Spanish onionschopped
- β2 Lovely lemonsjuiced
- β2 tsp Tagine spicesa blend of cumin, coriander, and cinnamon
- β1 cup Chicken brothlow-sodium
- β1/4 cup Chopped fresh parsleyoptional garnish

Instructions

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Season the lamb with salt and tagine spices.

Grill the lamb over direct heat for 5 minutes per side, or until nicely charred.

Transfer the lamb to a large Dutch oven or tagine.

Add olive oil, chopped onions, and lemon juice to the pot.

Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.

Cover the pot and transfer to the oven.

Braise the lamb for 2 1/2 hours, or until tender and easily shredded.
