Algerian Mellow Tortilla Wrap
A flavorful vegetarian wrap filled with mellow earthy goodness, inspired by Algerian spices.
Ingredients
- β1 Algerian tortillawhole wheat or gluten-free
- β1/2 cup Mellow earthy fillingroasted vegetables, hummus
- β1/4 cup Quesadilla cheeseoptional, shredded or crumbled
- β1/4 cup Fresh parsleychopped, for garnish
- β1 tsp Olive oilfor brushing tortilla
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Pepper
- β1/2 tsp Cuminoptional, for added flavor

1. Preheat a dry skillet or griddle over medium heat.

2. Brush the Algerian tortilla with olive oil and cook for 1-2 minutes, until lightly browned.

3. Flip the tortilla and cook for another minute.

4. Spread the mellow earthy filling down the center of the tortilla.

5. Sprinkle the quesadilla cheese on top of the filling, if using.

6. Fold the bottom half of the tortilla up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll the wrap into a neat cylinder.

7. Cook the wrap for another 2-3 minutes, until the tortilla is crispy and the filling is heated through.
