Algerian Pork Tajine
A flavorful and aromatic Algerian-inspired dish made with tender pork, melting spices, and tender vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1.5 pounds Pork Tenderloin
- β2 tablespoons Algerian Spices (melted)
- β1 medium Onion
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1/4 cup Dried Apricots
- β1 cup Chicken Broth
- β2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add the pork tenderloin and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Add the Algerian spices, dried apricots, chicken broth, salt, and pepper.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then cover the pot and transfer it to the oven.
