Stir-Fried Zha Mian
A traditional Chinese stir-fry dish made with zha mian noodles and midnight sauce. This recipe is gluten-free and can be ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- β1/2 cup zha mian noodles
- β2 tablespoons midnight sauce
- β1 teaspoon chinese jiang sauce
- β1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- β2 cloves garlic
- β1 tablespoon ginger
- β1/4 cup green onions
- β1/4 cup chopped scallions
- β1 tablespoon sesame seedsoptional
Instructions

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 1 minute.

Add the midnight sauce and jiang sauce and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes.

Add the cooked noodles and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

Stir in the green onions and chopped scallions.

Transfer the noodles to a serving dish and sprinkle with sesame seeds (if using).
