Indian Almond Thali
A mild and nutty Indian-inspired dish made with almonds and served as a thali. This recipe is perfect for a light and satisfying meal.
Ingredients

- β1 cup Basmati Riceuncooked
- β2 tablespoons Ghee
- β1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- β1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
- β1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- βto taste Salt
- β2 cups Water

Rinse the basmati rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.

Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add the soaked rice to the pan and mix well with the spice mixture.

Add water to the pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cover the pan.

Simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and fluffy.

Meanwhile, toast the almonds in a pan over medium heat until fragrant.
