Filipino-Style Braised Pork Belly with Noodles
A hearty and flavorful Filipino-inspired dish featuring tender pork belly in a savory sauce served over noodles.
Ingredients

- β1 teaspoon Mildly seasoned ground black pepper
- β1 package Filipino noodlespreferably fresh or frozen
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- β1 large Onion
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β2 tablespoons Fish sauceadjust to taste
- β1 tablespoon PatisFilipino fish sauce alternative
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- β2 tablespoons Brown sugar

1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

3. Add the pork belly and cook until browned on all sides.

4. Add the fish sauce, patis, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Stir to combine.

5. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.

6. Reduce the heat to low and braise the pork belly for 2 hours, or until tender.
