Nectarine Elixir Dessert
A refreshing summer dessert made with poached nectarines and a light elixir. Perfect for warm weather.
Ingredients

- β1 cup elaxir
- β1/4 cup granulated sugar
- β1 cup water
- β2 tablespoons lemon juice
- β1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- β2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Butter a 9-inch (23cm) pie dish and set aside.

Cut nectarines into wedges and place them on a baking sheet.

Sprinkle granulated sugar over the nectarines and toss to coat.

Bake nectarines for 15-20 minutes, or until tender.

Meanwhile, combine elixir, water, lemon juice, and salt in a blender.

Blend until smooth and set aside.

In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

Pour the elixir mixture into the saucepan and cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
