French Nectarine Crumble
A delicious French-inspired dessert featuring poached nectarines topped with a crumbly mixture and baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- β3 nectarine
- β1 cup poachedReserved poaching liquid
- β1/4 cup light
- β2 tbsp elixir
- β1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup granulated sugar
- β1/2 cup butter
- β1/4 cup bakers ground almonds
- β1 eggs
- β1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a medium saucepan, combine the reserved poaching liquid, nectarine, and light. Heat over medium heat until the nectarine is tender.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and ground almonds.

Add the cold butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry blender or your fingers to work the butter into the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Press the crumb mixture evenly over the top of the nectarine mixture.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the nectarine is bubbly.
