Smoky Chicken Casserole
A hearty, comforting dish featuring smoky flavors and tender chicken.
Ingredients

- ●1 cup, shredded smoky american cheese
- ●1 cup italian breadcrumbs
- ●1 medium onion
- ●3 cloves garlic
- ●2 tablespoons olive oil
- ●1 teaspoon salt
- ●1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the chicken breast in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned on both sides and cooked through.

In a separate skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, sautéed onion and garlic, smoky american cheese, italian breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.

Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
