Middle Eastern Almond Cookies
A delicious and nutty dessert originating from the Middle East. Almond cookies are easy to make and perfect for a sweet treat.
Ingredients

- β1/2 cup cookiescrushed
- β1/4 cup nuttyflour
- β1/4 cup chewyhoney
- β1/2 tsp middle easternground cinnamon
- β1/4 tsp salt
- β1 large eggs
- β1 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together almond, nutty, middle eastern, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together chewy and eggs until light and fluffy.

Add vanilla extract and mix until combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

Roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thickness.

Cut into desired shapes using a cookie cutter.

Place on prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden.

Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
