Charred Norwegian Udon Noodles
A simple Asian-inspired dish featuring udon noodles, charred Norwegian salmon, and a hint of soy sauce.
Ingredients
- β4 Norwegian salmon filletsfresh, skin removed
- β1 package Udon noodlesgluten-free
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- β1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- β2 inches Gingergrated
- β1 bunch Green onionschopped

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the salmon fillets on it.

Drizzle the vegetable oil over the salmon and season with salt and pepper.

Bake the salmon in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through.

While the salmon is baking, cook the udon noodles according to package instructions.

In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, and grated ginger.

Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 2-3 minutes or until slightly thickened.

To assemble the dish, place the cooked noodles on a plate, top with a charred salmon fillet, and drizzle with the soy sauce glaze.
