Thai-Style Masarepa Flatbread
A unique twist on traditional flatbread, inspired by Thai flavors and using masarepa. Perfect as a side or snack.
Ingredients
- β1 cup masarepapreferably pre-cooked
- β1 cup wateras needed
- β2 tablespoons coconut oilmelted
- β1/4 cup chopped scallionsoptional
- β1 teaspoon ground cuminfor flavor
- β4-6 pieces flatbreadas needed for serving

1. In a large bowl, combine the masarepa and water. Mix well and adjust the water as needed to achieve a dough consistency.

2. Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes, until smooth and pliable.

3. Heat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/4 inch (6 mm).

5. Brush the dough with the melted coconut oil and sprinkle with chopped scallions, if using.

6. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

7. Bake the flatbread in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until lightly browned and crispy.

8. Remove the flatbread from the oven and let it cool for 2-3 minutes.
