Grilled Naan with Samphire and Spices
A flavorful Indian-inspired dish featuring grilled naan bread topped with sautéed samphire and aromatic spices.
Ingredients
- ●4 pieces plump naan bread
- ●1 bunch samphiretrimmed and cleaned
- ●2 tbsp ghee or vegetable oil
- ●1 tsp ground cumin
- ●1 tsp ground coriander
- ●1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper
- ●to taste salt
- ●2 lemon wedges

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Brush the naan bread with ghee or oil and season with salt.

Grill the naan bread for 2-3 minutes on each side, until lightly charred.

Meanwhile, heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the samphire to the pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes, until tender.

Stir in the cumin, coriander, and cayenne pepper.

To assemble the dish, place a grilled naan bread on a plate and top with a spoonful of the samphire mixture.
