Quick German Breakfast Hash
A simple and delicious German-inspired breakfast dish made with pan-fried hash browns, eggs, and sausage.
Ingredients
- β1 cup hash brownsshredded potatoes
- β2 sausageGerman-style, sliced
- β4 eggsbeaten
- β1/2 onionchopped
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper
- β2 tbsp butter

1. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Add the sausage and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

3. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.

4. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.

5. Add the shredded hash browns to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.

6. Push the hash browns to one side of the skillet.

7. Pour the beaten eggs into the other side of the skillet and scramble until cooked through.
