Thai Egg Quiche
A unique fusion of British quiche and Thai flavors. Enjoy this egg-cellent dish for breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients
- β6 rich eggbeaten
- β1 cup silky britishpastry dough, chilled
- β2 eggbeaten
- β1 cup quicheshredded chicken
- β1/4 cup thai basilchopped
- β2 tbsp fish saucesqueezed
- β1 tsp chili flakesoptional
- β1/2 cup grated cheddaroptional

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the chilled pastry dough and place it in a 9-inch tart pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together the beaten eggs, salt, and a pinch of black pepper.

Add the shredded chicken, chopped Thai basil, fish sauce, and chili flakes (if using) to the egg mixture. Stir well.

Pour the egg mixture into the pastry-lined tart pan.

If using cheese, sprinkle it evenly over the egg mixture.

Bake the quiche for 35-40 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
