French Quiche Lorraine
A classic French dish made with eggs, cream, and lardons, perfect for a weekend brunch.
Ingredients
- ●1 Quiche crustStore-bought or homemade
- ●1/2 cup LardonsSmall pieces of bacon
- ●1/2 cup OnionChopped
- ●3 EggLarge eggs
- ●1 cup CreamHeavy cream
- ●1 cup Grated cheeseGruyère or Swiss
- ●to taste Salt

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the quiche crust and place it in a tart pan.

In a skillet, cook the lardons over medium heat until crispy.

Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Add the cooked lardons and onion to the bowl and stir to combine.

Pour the egg mixture into the quiche crust.

Sprinkle the grated cheese over the top of the quiche.

Bake the quiche for 35-40 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
