Vietnamese Banh Mi Sandwich
A classic Vietnamese sandwich made with a crispy baguette, pickled vegetables, and a variety of meats, all grilled to perfection. This recipe is perfect for a quick and delicious meal.
Ingredients
- β4-6 inches Baguette
- β1 pound Pork BellySliced into thin strips
- β2 tablespoons Vietnamese Chili Sauce
- β1 cup Pickled Carrots and Daikon
- β1/4 cup Mint Leaves
- β1 cup Cucumber Slices
- β1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
- β1 tablespoon Hoisin Sauce
- β1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro
Instructions

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Season the pork belly with salt and pepper.

Grill the pork belly for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Slice the baguette in half and grill for 1-2 minutes, or until crispy.

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the baguette.

Add sliced pork belly, pickled carrots and daikon, mint leaves, cucumber slices, and hoisin sauce on top of the mayonnaise.
