Spicy Japanese Stir Fry
A quick and easy stir fry made with tofu and a variety of vegetables, perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 block tofupressed and drained
- β1 cup mixed vegetablessuch as bell peppers, carrots and broccoli
- β2 tablespoons stir fry sauceavailable in most supermarkets
- β1 tablespoon spicy saucesuch as sriracha
- β2 tablespoons sick day oilsuch as vegetable oil
- β1/4 cup green onionschopped
- β1 tablespoon juicy sesame seedsoptional
- βto taste salt and pepper

Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the tofu and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the mixed vegetables and cook until tender, about 4-5 minutes.

In a small bowl, whisk together the stir fry sauce and spicy sauce.

Pour the sauce over the vegetables and tofu, and stir to combine.

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
