Italian Crispy Pickle Fritters
A crunchy Italian twist on traditional fritters with a tangy pickle kick.
Ingredients
- β1 cup, finely chopped sour pickles
- β1 cup, crushed crumbly bread
- β1/2 cup, crumbled crumble feta cheese
- β1 1 large egg
- β1/2 cup 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- β1/4 cup 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- β1/4 tsp 1/4 teaspoon salt
- β1/4 tsp 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1. In a large bowl, combine chopped pickles, crushed bread, crumbled feta, and egg.

2. Add flour, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to the bowl and mix well.

3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

4. Remove the mixture from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.

5. Using a small cookie scoop or spoon, drop the mixture into hot oil (350Β°F) and fry until crispy and golden brown.

6. Remove the fritters from the oil with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
