Spicy Canadian Pork Roast
A flavorful and spicy pork roast recipe, inspired by Canadian cuisine.
Ingredients
- β2 pounds pork shoulder
- β2 tablespoons spicy Montreal seasoning
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- β1 medium onion
- β2 medium carrot
- β2 stalks celery
- β1 cup beef broth
- β2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- β1 tablespoon brown sugar
- β2-3 medium potatoes

Preheat oven to 325Β°F (160Β°C).

Season the pork shoulder with spicy Montreal seasoning.

Heat olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Sear the pork shoulder until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the pork from the pot and set aside.

Add the sliced onion, carrot, and celery to the pot and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.

Add the beef broth, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar to the pot.
