Spicy Nduja Turnovers
A twist on traditional turnovers, these spicy nduja pastries are a perfect combination of spicy and savory.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Nduja
- β1 sheet Flaky Pastry Doughhomemade or store-bought
- β1 cup Shredded Mozzarella
- β1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Parsley
- β1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- βto taste Salt
- β1 Egg, Beaten

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out the pastry dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch.

Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

Mix the nduja, mozzarella, parsley, red pepper flakes, and salt in a bowl.

Place a tablespoon of the nduja mixture in the center of each dough circle.

Brush the edges of the dough with the beaten egg.

Fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle or a square shape, pressing the edges to seal.

Place the turnovers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the tops of the turnovers with the remaining egg.
