Prawn Paella
A classic Spanish dish made with succulent prawns and savory spices. Perfect for a dinner party or special occasion.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Prawns
- β1 cup Paella riceuncooked
- β1 teaspoon Sweet paprika
- β1 teaspoon Mexican chili powder
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large paella pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and lightly browned.

Add the sweet paprika and Mexican chili powder and cook for 1 minute.

Add the paella rice and stir to coat with the spice mixture.

Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes until the rice is cooked and the liquid has been absorbed.
