Smoked Sweet and Pear Skewers
A gluten-free and flavorful skewer recipe that combines the sweetness of pear and the smokiness of Argentinean-style grilled meats.
Ingredients
- β1 large Pearsuch as Bartlett or Anjou
- β4-6 links Argentinian Smoked Sausageyou can substitute with chorizo or morcilla
- β1/4 cup Korean BBQ Sauceuse a gluten-free version if needed
- β10-12 Wooden Skewerssoaked in water for 30 minutes
- β1 large Sweet Peppersuch as bell or pimento
- β1 large Onionred or yellow
- β3-4 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 tbsp Olive Oilfor brushing skewers
- βto taste Salt

Preheat grill to medium-high heat (400Β°F).

Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.

Thread pear, sausage, pepper, onion, and garlic onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

Brush skewers with olive oil and season with salt.

Grill skewers for 8-10 minutes per side, or until sausage is cooked through and vegetables are tender.

Brush with Korean BBQ sauce during the last 2 minutes of grilling.
