Cranberry Tagine
A sweet and tangy North African-inspired dessert using algerian spices and fresh cranberries.

- β1 tsp algerian spices
- β1/2 tsp cinnamon
- β1/4 tsp ginger
- β1 cup sugar
- β2 medium tangy apples
- β1 cup cranberries
- β1 cup water

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large bowl, mix together the algerian spices, cinnamon, ginger, and sugar.

Add the sliced tangy apples to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated.

Transfer the apple mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix together the cranberries and water.

Pour the cranberry mixture over the apple mixture in the baking dish.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the apples are tender.
