Norwegian Pineapple Stir Fry
A comforting Norwegian inspired dish with a tangy twist, featuring pineapple and a stir fry method.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Pineapple chunksFresh or canned
- β2 tablespoons Tangy stir fry sauceHomemade or store-bought
- β2 slices Dense Norwegian dark rye breadCubed
- β2 tablespoons ButterUnsalted
- β1 small OnionThinly sliced
- β1 Bell pepperThinly sliced
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the cubed rye bread and cook until toasted, about 2-3 minutes.

Remove the bread from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet.
