Fish in Indian-Style Stew
A flavorful and aromatic stew originating from India, made with fish and a blend of spices.
Ingredients

- β1 medium OnionChopped
- β2 inches GingerGrated
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β1 tsp CuminGround
- β1 tsp CorianderGround
- β1/2 tsp TurmericGround
- β1 tsp Cumin SeedsWhole
- β1 can Coconut Milk14 oz

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for 1 minute.

Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add grated ginger and minced garlic, cook for 1 minute.

Add cumin, coriander, and turmeric, cook for 1 minute.

Add fish fillets and cook until browned on both sides, about 3-4 minutes.

Add uncooked rice and stir to combine.

Add coconut milk and bring to a simmer.
